I am a deep listener, collaborator, and builder. In my world, the quality of questions have a significant impact on the quality of life. I’ve had a few careers in various industries, but independent of my functional roles, the two most important skills I’ve mastered are the ability to ask good questions and deeply listen to the answers.
I’ve developed these skills from a young age and over a 20 year career that has spanned banking, venture capital, entrepreneurship, personal coaching and startup advising. I’ve helped start 6 businesses, including co-founding a software company that we built from start-up to a profitable multi-million-dollar global operation to a successful M&A exit.
Most recently, I spent 7 years as a General Partner at Enjoy The Work, a startup advisory firm specializing in company building. A partnership of 12 experienced and successful former operators and investors, we support more than 50 startup founders via immersive 1-on-1 advisory, and dozens more via virtual training programs.
I've earned my CPA license and multiple academic degrees. However, my more meaningful learnings come from everyone who is in front of me. I am a continuous student of life, psychology, and human behavior. I love coaching and mentoring my fellow entrepreneurs, and spending time with my wife, kids, family and friends.
