Boyd Varty

Track Your Life Founder

Boyd Varty is the founder of Track Your Life and a major voice of the new consciousness. He engages people across the world on the subject of forging connections in ourselves, our communities and with the earth.

As a 4th generation custodian of Londolozi Game Reserve, Boyd grew up with lions, leopards, snakes and elephants and has spent his life in apprenticeship to the natural world. He is a lion tracker, storyteller, certified Master Life Coach and literacy and wildlife activist. At the intersection of his two greatest passions, tracking and personal transformation, Boyd uses ancient wisdom to help people create a purpose-drive, meaningful life and the discovering of their most authentic, essential self.

Boyd holds a psychology degree from the University of South Africa, where he studied psychology and ecology, supplementing his education by learning martial arts in Thailand, hiking through the jungles of the Amazon, and apprenticing to a renowned tracker from the Shangaan tribe deepening his intimate knowledge of the natural world.

Boyd is a TED speaker, and the author of the Cathedral of the Wild and the Lion Trackers Guide to Life

Using wilderness as a place for deep introspection and personal transformation, Boyd has taught his philosophy of “Tracking your Life” to companies and individuals all over the world. He has been running Track Your Life retreats for the past nine years.

Boyd works in both the USA and South Africa.
